HR Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior HR Coordinator to join our team in Cressex, High Wycombe (Coronation Road, Cressex, High Wycombe, HP12 3TZ).

Within this role you will work within the Employee Services (HR Admin) Function to co-ordinate effective, accurate and timely Human Resources Administrative support to all internal & external clients of Employee Services, ensuring compliance with company operating procedures, security of Employee information and legal obligations.

Applying a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities, to be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.

This role is well suited to someone with Senior HR administration experience with experience working within a large organisation. Someone who is experienced in handling high traffic queries and transactions and is confident working autonomously.

A person who enjoys relationship building, team development and is wanting to forge a career within a well-established plc organisation.

This role will involve some adhoc site visits so the successful candidate will need to be flexible for adhoc travel and you will need to hold a valid UK driving license.

The role:

• Working within a team consisting of 6 Employee Services Administrators specialising in HR Administration, Contracts and HR Policies. The role will be Senior to this team, responsible for the co-ordination of workload and managing projects such as restructures, harmonisations, policy and process changes from an admin perspective, reporting into and supporting the HR Shared Services Manager.
• Working with Operational HR Community and Centres of Excellence to support companywide initiatives and general management support with admin related projects.
• Responsible for projecting and planning the yearly cycle of tasks as well as ad hoc project planning with typical horizons of monthly to quarterly
• It is expected that HR Coordinator would be CIPD qualified with an in depth understanding of administration project planning.

Tasks include:

• Workload delegation to Admin team
• Project manage policy, business & other organisational changes from an administrative perspective.
• Review and maintenance of employee documentation (letters) and overall management and maintenance of the suite of employment contract templates, to include version control and review/management of the template approval process
• Business and internal HR Query & Enquiry resolution : managing the inbox and delegating queries where appropriate; acting as the main point of contact for HR Business Partner community
• Line Manager support & guidance in administrative tasks & Company policy interpretation
• Use of business reporting & statistical information to support the provision of team performance statistics and Manager input statistics; as well as producing simple ad hoc data extracts for Managers
• HR Admin point of contact/project manager for TUPE and subsequent harmonisation processes
• Employee lifecycle initiatives support e.g. holiday buy/sell; redundancy calculations; salary increases; DBS checks
• Running the ‘Tour of Duty’ programme : visiting business areas to present the ESC service and field queries
• Leading and supporting ESC Operational Excellence projects
• Co-ordinate the onboarding and induction of new HR Admin team members
• Develop and manage an HR Admin calendar to support workforce planning with HR Shared Services Manager

Key skills and experience:

• Good standard of general education including Maths and English
• Chartered Institute of Personal Development Level 5 or above
• Experience of working within a large and diverse organisation
• Knowledge and experience of human resources processes and best practices
• HR Systems experience
• General IT skills inc Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with highly developed customer facing skills
• Confidence to challenge colleagues at multiple levels and ability to handle conflict
• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, using own initiative, highly organised with a high level of attention to detail
• Highly organised with a high level of attention to detail
• Professional and customer-centric attitude
• Confidentiality and total discretion is paramount to this role
• Valid UK driving license
• Experience of organising resource and workload for a team of administrators (desirable)
• Experience in a fast paced Human Resources department (desirable)
