Fleet Analyst

Biffa PLC is currently on the lookout for a Fleet Analyst to be based from Sevenoaks. The role of the Fleet Analyst is to support the Business Director, in the delivery of strategic fleet objectives and decisions with data, analysis and report from Fleetwave, Navision and supplier base. This will incorporate the compilation and management of various data sources to and from key suppliers. In addition, the role may also support the wider Divisional Fleet Team, Business Development and Finance function in delivering its business and strategic objectives.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES



• Work collaboratively with effected parties for the effective delivery of the Vehicle Movement (VM) process. Monitor adherence with the process and liaise with Finance and assist where required to maintain the company’s asset registers
• An output from the VM process is to arrange invoicing for vehicle disposal to approved and agreed suppliers. Advise Group Fleet for release of relevant legal documents to suppliers
• Maintain and create key Fleet data when required from spreadsheets or software to monitor supplier’s performance; for example against KPI’s or pricing agreements and compile and circulate management information reports.
• Maintain database for all municipal locations of CPC holders, including FTA Prequal nominations and identified talent. Communication with relevant parties and regular report updates to BM board and Group Compliance Function.
• Support the Development Team with the provision on Management Information from Fleet Systems, reports, written and graph formats as required.
• Fleetwave; monitor dashboard and report and advise operational and fleet teams on all aspects of Fleetwave, regarding compliance. Generate reports and trend analysis in line with strategic Fleet objectives. To operate at a ‘Super-user level in Fleetwave in 6 : 12 months.
• Provide support during Divisional Fleet procurement projects. Assist in the Preparation of tender documentation that will lead to data compilation for consistent comparison and identify differentiations in specifications and costs.
• Support business case submission and from approval process administer and track order process to delivery and update Fleet & Finance teams.
• Provide administrative support to the Fleet Team when team are managing projects and update necessary data/systems on related issues and tasks.
• Carry out any ad-hoc tasks and analysis as assigned by the Business Director or wider senior management team.



NATURE AND SCOPE



The role holder will be required to manage and maintain the data on Fleetwave and external databases, deliver management support to the fleet team and wider divisional management and support key supplier contracts, communicating with key internal and external stakeholders.

The role holder will be able to work with minimum supervision, prioritise their own workload and have excellent organisational and time management skills. The role holder will need to numerate, analytical and computer literate and have excellent attention to detail with practical experience with MS Office.

The role holder will be required to verbally communicate effectively with all business units, departments, suppliers and work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders

• Good working knowledge of MS Office (notably Excel).

• Process and organisational & technology skills
