Working hours:

• Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm however on alternate weeks we do 8.15am - 5.15pm
• Bank holidays: Double pay and a day off to be taken in lieu. Generally done on an "opt in" process. We are open on bank holidays but we have a lot of people volunteering to work due to the pay increase and the additional day off so we consider it an optional opportunity.
• Saturday: 8am - 1pm at time and a half pay, on an opt in basis as we have a lot of people volunteering to work

Training and Support

To support you in providing high quality customer service, Biffa provides a 12 month learning programme for all new customer service employees to help you build on your knowledge, skills and behaviour for the role.

Over the course of the year you will receive 40 days of learning specific to your work tasks and the waste industry. You will be required to document learning, be given the opportunity to build on your functional skills and receive plenty of support.
